Just wanted to mention how much Brad’s AMAIM reminds me of the Union Over Flag from Gundam 00. Honestly prefer its appearance, as well as the original Ghost’s, to any of the AMAIMS piloted by the main trio.

Talking about 00, Gundam Info removed the playlist again after re-uploaded it months ago. I'm quite annoyed because I haven't finished that one yet and already halfway through it.

Gai was sad because he thought they would die together in oki island but when he found out amou was still alive he was so happy and now Gai is gone

as soon as Amou and Gai figured out that Brad was cutting off his safeties for inside cockpit 'stuffs', they BOTH should have changed tactics. move around, make the fight about mobility instead of brute strength, dodge, evade, avoid, use more of Gai's 'gun arm' attacks from mid-range. this 'new' version of Ghost seems equipped ONLY with hand-to-hand combat weapons, two swords, and two arms with twin 'forearm blades' that barely extend past the hands of the mech. if Brad is getting 'beat up' inside that cockpit, turn the battle into one that's endurance based NOT brute force 'beat each other black and blue'! Gai's 'big sword' moves just let Brad and Ghost get in more hits. do things that beat Brad up inside his cockpit and MAKE him get injured and tired.

now, as to Gai goingoffline and everything around Amou in the cockpit going black? i've got 2 theories.

1 Brad and Ghost were not only attacking Gai's body but putting electrical surges through the mech to try and attack the computer core that Gai 'lives in'. no core, no Gai, no mecha, it just turns into a big pile of robot parts.

2 it's the update. ya gotta reboot a computer (Gai) once you stick in a bunch of programming code level upgrades. i would guess that episode 12 will give us 'Gai's Final Form!' transformation. i wonder if the goofy lion-dog is going to get some samurai armor? maybe he'll look less 'cartoony' and 'humanoid'? maybe he'll look like the traditional Okinawan legendary lion-dog and more badass?

Seriously, though. In reality, Brad should have died long before Genbu was rendered inoperable. There's no way he would pilot the mech with its full potential with his injury like that and his combat efficiency will go down hyperbolically. But, of course, this is anime. The willpower is everything.
